The UTMA 19 fight card in Kaunas continues to grow. Crossing paths in the ring will be two Kaunas natives – Deividas Danyla (4-3 UTMA) and Evaldas Balsys (4-1 UTMA).
The bout will be a three-round kickboxing contest in the 67 kg weight category.
This fight will take place on September 26th at the Žalgiris Arena in Kaunas. The main event of the UTMA 19 card will feature a blockbuster matchup between Sergejus Maslobojevas and Dominykas Dirkstys.

This matchup represents a clash of two generations and two fighters with distinct paths in the UTMA promotion.
Danyla has been with UTMA since its very first event, where he defeated Luke Bar in a 69 kg kickboxing bout. Since then, Danyla has been an active staple on UTMA cards and ranks among the top ten most active fighters in the promotion’s history.
While Danyla has mostly competed in Muay Thai recently, he has stepped into the UTMA ring under kickboxing rules five times, picking up three victories.
In his most recent outing – a Muay Thai bout fought with 4oz MMA gloves at UTMA 17 – Danyla suffered a second-round knockout loss to Turkey’s Cengiz Lale. He is expected to return to Nemunas Island with an even bigger hunger for victory.
On the other hand, Balsys has not tasted defeat in a long time.
The Fightersland club representative suffered his only promotional defeat in his UTMA debut at UTMA 11, where he was knocked out by Mantvydas Perednis.
That debut bout took place back on February 22, 2025. Since then, Balsys has put together a four-fight winning streak, remaining unbeaten for 535 days. This four-fight streak ties him for the second-longest active winning streak in UTMA history.
Unlike Danyla, Balsys competes exclusively under kickboxing rules in UTMA, featuring in the 67 kg division since UTMA 15.
